Life at Sunday School
Sunday School at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity is a lifetime experience, which takes our children from as early as 2 years old until confirmation (16-17 yrs.). Not only are our children exposed to God’s word but they are also exposed to the teachings of
the Catholic faith through sacred scriptures, tradition and the magisterium of the Sunday School Summary / Prepared By: Denisa Atkins – July 3, 2014

Sunday School provides an environment that not only enhances and encourages spiritual growth, leading to Christian formation, but helps our children in becoming more rounded and wholesome individuals as they experience different phases within their Our team of twenty-one (21) dedicated, compassionate and hardworking Catechists (including eight (8) Junior Catechists) are there to nurture the spiritual, physical and psychological growth of our children and are also willing to go above and beyond their role as Catechists in a time where there seems to be a struggle in our children.
As the second letter of Timothy (2 Timothy 3:14-15) states “But as for you, continue in what you have learned and become convinced of, because you know from those whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise, for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ”, we have a responsibility as witnesses of the Gospel, and in so doing, have taken the charge of discipleship, in nurturing the transformation of our children into more responsible, respectful and social Stewards.

Lead The Children
“Train up a child in the way he should go
And when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
These are the words every adult should know
And put into practice wherever we go.
For it is our duty to nurture and teach
Every child that we can reach.
The task may be rough and sometimes hard,
But stay the course, for lying ahead is a rich reward.
We must always nurture with tender care,
All children whose lives we share
And show kindness to everyone we see
As Jesus did, when he said
“Suffer the little children to come unto me.” (Mark 10:14)
So lead the children of this land
Guide them with a firm but gentle hand
Teaching them right from wrong
So that they may become smart and strong
Remembering at all times that the children of today
Are the leaders of tomorrow.
